We are anchored in Seixal, a small fisher town across the Tejo river from Lisbon. This arm of the Tejo has strong tidal currents and turns the boat several times a day around its anchor. Sometimes when it gets stormy and the tide pushes as well it gets too much for our 2 anchors and we start slipping in the soft mud.
In this episode we need to change a bulb in our toplight and use the opportunity to enjoy the elevated views over marsch land and abandoned tidal watermills, we can see the skyline of downtown Lisbon from up there.
